BIOGRAPHY
Brian King began playing competitively at the age of 13 as a freshman in high school. As a sophomore he was on the varsity and helped the team win a state championship. During his senior year he captured the Chick Evans Junior Open, high school conference champion and won an invitational. This success propelled him to a full scholarship at Northern Illinois University where he was instrumental in helping the team to win two Mid-Conference championships. Brian was later inducted to the NIU Men’s Golf Hall of Fame.

Brian turned professional in 1991 and became a PGA Member in 1994. He played professionally and had numerous high finishes within the Illinois Section. Brian qualified for the Motorola Western Open in 1995. After a fulfilling playing career, Brian set his sights on teaching other golfers what he had learned through his years of playing and receiving coaching. He realized that all of the time spent on his own game provided him with a wealth of knowledge that would greatly benefit others.

Having had a great deal of enjoyment and experience playing junior golf, Brian truly enjoys working with junior golfers. It is a passion of his to help young golfers develop their skills which they will have for the rest of their life. The experience of coaching a high school team is very rewarding to Brian. He strives to be a mentor and a role model to the junior golfers. Brian would like to share his passion for the game of golf with you as you embark on the journey of better golf.
